The challenge to photograph a friend

I am friend with Petya since she started to work for Pertito - the biggest and most reliable wedding agency around the sea shore of Bulgaria. As a wedding photographer I have the privilege to exclusively work with them and be their main photographer for the wedding season and not only. But let's go back to Petya and Vasco.

"It will be a very small wedding" - she said - "Just the ceremony and a small photoshoot and we are done". I said that for me it does not matter and me and my team are going to give everything we got even for such a small time window.

When love meets adrenaline! 🏁💍

Yet nobody told me that the small photoshoot was organised in the middle of a real racing track... Who says weddings have to be all white doves and violins? When Petya and Vasco tied the knot, they opted for something a bit more... turbocharged. 🚗💨

Forget the traditional chapel; these two lovebirds said their vows on a race track, surrounded by drifting cars. Talk about a high-octane love story! With engines roaring and tires screeching, we managed to capture their special moments without anyone needing a pit stop.

Picture this: the bride’s veil fluttering in the breeze, the groom looking dapper, and cars doing donuts around them. It was like Fast & Furious meets The Notebook! The drivers were pros, ensuring we got the perfect shots without any need for a quick getaway.

These photos are a perfect blend of romance and adrenaline, just like Petya and Vasco. Congrats, you two speed demons! 🏁💍

I am a wedding photographer who shoots all over Bulgaria and not only but this did not happened anywhere else.

the second location

After all we are in Varna, Bulgaria with a lovely seaside next to us. The combination of rugged cliffs and crashing waves perfectly mirrored their love story. Before to go to the sea though we were able to make some beautiful and natural candid pictures in a small park with trees and nice Italian style houses around them.

Tips for Cliffside Photoshoots

  1. Golden Hour: If possible shoot during sunrise or sunset for the best natural light.
  2. Embrace the Wind: Capture the natural movement of hair and clothing.
  3. Use Reflectors: Bounce light to soften shadows and highlight faces.
  4. Check Tides: Ensure you have enough space and time without interruptions.
  5. Safety First: Always prioritize safety near cliffs.

THE venue

was in a perfect harmony with the Autumn season that was just knocking on the door. From the colours to all of the materials used for decoration everything was just in the place it needs to be. This motivated us to capture all the nice decoration and to finish the story with amazing ring shot.
